MS Queensland is a not-for-profit organisation providing specialised services to benefit people living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and other neurological conditions. At the heart of our work is achieving our mission of a world free from MS and finding a cure is the commitment of our people.

About the role

• Provide quality, needs and evidence based, condition specific neurological physiotherapy advice and services to clients and other organisations
• Ensure our customers achieve the best out of life by reaching optimal functional capacity and effectively minimising the impact of their symptoms in day to day life
• Appropriately direct and support Exercise Therapists in the performance of their duties
• Provide collaborative advice, direction and support to the stakeholders as required to support the development of operational and strategic business objectives
• Operate according to the MS Queensland Physiotherapy Model of Service 2014.

About you

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in providing clinical physiotherapy services in a ‘slow stream’ rehabilitation and /or community settings
• Recognised Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy providing eligibility for registration in Australia
• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Agency (AHPRA)
• Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability and desire to coach and mentor team members
• Neurological Physiotherapy Titling, or a high interest in achieving this with MS Qld, is a highly desirable criteria.
