In the position of Executive Director - Nursing and Clinical Services, you will pioneer and lead our Nursing and Clinical Services team. Your purpose

As an Executive Director at Marie Stopes Australia, you will lead and support as necessary in developing and creating an organisational culture of multi-disciplinary team collaboration in line with our organisational values and behaviours. You will have input for the day to day operations of the organisation including managing committees and staff as well as developing business plans in collaboration with the ET and the Managing Director. Leading a talented team of Nurse Unit Managers and multi-disciplinary professionals, you will work collaboratively with leaders and guide them to deliver on our organisational mission and purpose. You will co-design, develop and implement strategic & operational plans for your department from start to finish ensuring they are both cost and time efficient, and able to deliver on the set goals. You will be responsible for clinical governance, operational outcomes and ensuring organisational accountability in the MSA clinical network.

What we need:

• A Pro-choice advocate and champion of women’s and pregnant people’s rights
• Nursing degree and AHPRA registered
• Significant senior leadership experience in a clinical setting
• Advanced clinical and regulatory knowledge including the NSQHA and ACORN standards
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated high level problem solving skills, and the ability to liaise effectively with multi-disciplinary team members
• Ability to build strong working relationships with nursing teams, medical practitioners and other key stakeholders
• Experience in the formulation, implementation and evaluation of strategies to achieve key business outcomes
• Experience in financial and human resource management including the development and engagement of staff
