We're looking for empathetic and experienced Anaesthetists to join us in providing safe and accessible reproductive healthcare to women and men across the country. If that's something you're passionate about, we'd love to hear from you.

We are looking for someone who has some experience working in women's health, but who is eager to learn more about sexual and reproductive health. We have numerous vacancies across the country including Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Townsville and Rockhampton.

Marie Stopes Australia is the only national, independently accredited safe abortion, vasectomy and contraception provider helping women and men take full control of their reproductive lives. Your purpose:

Deliver high quality, safe and empathetic medical care in line with best practice and internal policies, procedure and protocols. You will actively engage and support quality improvement initiatives and participate in clinical risk mitigation.

What we need:

• A Pro-choice advocate
• FANZCA or JCCA GP Anaesthetist
• AHPRA registration
• Unrestricted provider number
• Ability to work in dynamic day surgery environments
• A strong patient centred care advocate
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Exceptional empathy
• A non-judgemental attitude

What we'd like to see (but aren't essential):

• Experience in women’s health / contraception
• Workplace flexibility – hours and location
• High clinical standards (fully accredited with ACHS)
