About the Job

MRC Tas is seeking an experienced Housing Coordinator to join our team in delivering high quality tenancy management services across both Hobart and Launceston. In this part-time fixed term position you will demonstrate relevant experience providing client focused tenancy management services, including the ability to work with a diverse range of clients. In addition, you will have a good working knowledge and understanding of the Residential Tenancy Act 1997.

Key responsibilities include:

Securing and overseeing tenancy at MRC Tas managed housing and accommodation;

• Undertake regular housing site inspections
• Identification, implementation and maintenance of an electronic tenancy and lease management system

The successful applicant will:

• Be self-motivated and a skilled communicator with the ability to work in partnership with other community services and support agencies to improve service quality and outcomes;
• Have an awareness of and sensitivity to the people who are in housing and thorough understanding of local barriers and difficulties

Previous experience in the provision of housing / real estate services including tenancy and property management would be beneficial.
