MPS Law has exciting projects nation-wide and is rapidly growing, with an agile team of passionate lawyers and support staff. We are now looking to expand and consolidate our service offering in native title litigation.

About the role

The role will be focus on assistance with native title claim litigation in the Federal Court of Australia, including for interstate-based clients.

Travel will be required from time-to-time to support projects in remote and isolated locations around Australia.

Effective communication skills and high standards of written work will be essential to the role.

The role is full time. We offer flexible working conditions. Although our office is based in Adelaide, there is an opportunity to work from alternative locations, if required. There is also an opportunity for genuine revenue sharing for the right candidate who is confident in growing MPS Law's already expanding client list.

About you

We will warmly welcome an experienced native title litigation lawyer with a strong track record, who shares our values.

Extensive experience in Federal Court litigation and with native title claims is essential.

Your passion for collaboration will be evident in the team work shown in recent projects. You will have unrestricted practising certificate in South Australia (or be eligible for admission and an unrestricted practising certificate in South Australia) and have an eagerness to support the acceleration of our practice. This will require confidence and experience to achieve outcomes with little supervision. Importantly, you will be able to demonstrate your respect for our clients, particularly our First Nations clients.
