The Lead, Child, Youth and Family Wellbeing will play a key role in supporting the development, implementation and monitoring of a range of commissioned child, youth and family primary health services. A particular focus of this role is the statewide implementation of Enhancing Mental Health Supports in Secondary Schools (EMHSS). The program aims to improve healthcare accessibility and outcomes for school students. The Lead will provide statewide leadership through program development activities, coordination and networking, capacity building, promotion, and development of school resources.

A typical day would involve:

  • Project management support in collaboration with Victorian PHNs and external stakeholders
  • Maintaining high performing working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, to deliver outcomes within commissioned services and programs
  • Development of key procedural and project documentation, including templates and guidance materials
  • Contract management and monitoring of performance against targets and deliverables

What you will need to be successful:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a health, education or related field
  • Understanding of the Australian primary health care system, including understanding of health care delivery systems and patient care approaches such as coordination of care
  • Demonstrated experience of successfully managing multi-stakeholder projects or programs, including managing project teams
  • Demonstrated capability for quality written communication, including the preparation of reports and management of contracts
  • Demonstrated conceptual, analytical, evaluation and communication skills
