- SCHCADS Award Level 4. Pay point determined on level of qualifications and experience
We are funded by NSW Department of Communities and Justice to provide specialist DFV case management for women and children experiencing and or escaping domestic and family violence.
The Specialist DFV caseworker will be required to work 21 hours per week. This is a 12-month contract.
Essential Criteria: (Each criterion must be addressed in your application)
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Sciences with extensive experience working in domestic violence case management for a minimum of two years
- Demonstrated commitment to the provision of excellence in specialist Domestic and Family Violence case management, delivering client centred, strengths based approach within a trauma informed care framework
- Demonstrated ability to incorporate feminist perspectives
- Demonstrated detailed understanding of the risks, causes and consequences of domestic and family violence
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team with networking abilities
- Computer literacy
- Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check
Desirable criteria:
- Demonstrated ability to provide trauma informed case management in a culturally appropriate way
- Knowledge of SHS Data collection - CIMS
- Bi-lingual capability
- Current First Aid
- Groups / Workshop facilitation experience
