Due to recent growth Mood Active is seeking to fill the following leadership roles on the Association’s management committee to help shape the future of our not-for-profit. We are looking for people who can leverage their networks to open doors for Mood Active and help shape the future of our not-for-profit. Mood Active has is in a strong growth phase, so it's the ideal time to rejuvenate its committee. Association Founder Cam Wilson is stepping down as President after six years; both he and the current Vice President remain on the Committee. The (non-committee) General Manager, previously a Committee member, remains in her role. Their experience and skills continue to support the organisation.

• Volunteer appointment for a minimum two-year term
• Approximate commitment 12 hours per month (work from home)
• Required to attend 10 Committee meetings per year in the eastern suburbs of Sydney (some will be by phone link), plus two strategic planning sessions annually and at least one fundraising event, invited to attend staff gatherings & social events
• Represent Mood Active at networking events to help the organisation grow

Successful committee members will have the following attributes:

• Board, committee or governance role experience
• Community and/or corporate networks that can be leveraged to open doors for Mood Active.
• Experience leading the development of a long-term organisation strategy
• Health sector / NFP knowledge beneficial
• Passionate about using exercise to benefit own mental health

Established in 2013, Mood Active is a small, not for profit association based in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. We provide low cost group exercise programs for people diagnosed with depression and anxiety to help them get back on their feet and also manage their mood longer term.
