The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated Senior Grant Application Coordinator within the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. This works as a critical liaison point between the portfolio, university and internal and external client groups including the Central Clinical School to ensure alignment with the Artificial Heart Frontiers Program (MRFF Frontiers). The Senior Grant Application Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing the Stage 2 MRFF Frontiers submissions. This includes preparing materials for the submission, providing specialist and strategic advice the will contribute to the objectives of the Artificial Heart Frontiers Program.

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for

  • Preparation of the materials for the Artificial Heart Frontiers Program Stage 2 MRFF Frontiers submission
  • Contributing to the strategic planning and achievement of goals relevant to the program

The Senior Grant Application Coordinator will:

  • Have postgraduate qualifications and relevant experience
  • Have excellent operational management skills and experience in coordinating a successful program
  • Have significant experience working with large grant applications in the medical, science or engineering fields
  • Have experience with commercial grants, ideally MRFF and other commercial grants in the USA and other countries
