Funded primarily by external grants, ClimateWorks Australia is currently commencing a significant growth period in line with the UN’s call for a five-fold increase on climate change action, worldwide, by 2030.

ClimateWorks now seeks to appoint a suitably experienced Head of Portfolio Management. Reporting to the CEO, this Senior Executive position within the organisation will be required to provide critical leadership to the teams responsible for the development and delivery of programs and oversee the program management related to these programs. With an emphasis on internal collaboration and portfolio performance measurement, the Head of Portfolio Management will be accountable for people management, leadership development, program resourcing management as well as planning and program delivery, business improvement and program budget management.

Suited to an individual with previous high level senior management experience, this position will require an understanding of and demonstrated experience working with stakeholders in large complex matrix organisations, particularly in the business, government and international development fields. This position will require an ability to generate significant buy-in and influence at the highest levels and previous success in leading highly motivated, capable and successful teams.
