Monash Sustainable Development Institute (MSDI) is a leading interdisciplinary research, education and impact organisation which is advancing the wellbeing of people and the planet, for current and future generations.
MSDI have a brilliant opportunity for a Digital and Social Media Officer to join the team on a 12-month fixed term basis. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this position is a great opportunity for an individual to take responsibility for digital activities to deliver MSDI’s communications objectives and maximise the impact of our work.
This position will be an integral position in the delivery of the MSDI marketing and communications strategy and will be responsible for managing and creating content as well as crafting digital campaigns, and developing strategies to increase engagement on social media and digital platforms.
Suited to a creative go-getter with a passion for digital and social media, the successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication skills, particularly in their ability to develop high quality online and social media content as well as previous experience in conceiving, creating and publishing content for digital marketing campaigns and/or strategic communications.
Critical to success in this position will be proven experience in using analytics to measure and shape digital content coupled with strong knowledge of website development and maintenance including SEO principles.
