The Organisation

Climateworks Centre is an expert, independent adviser, acting as a bridge between research and action to accelerate the transition to net zero emissions for Australia, Southeast Asia and the Pacific. The Opportunity

ClimateWorks’ research projects are pioneering and multidisciplinary in nature, drawing on the latest research from technical, economic, financial and scientific fields.

To work in this dynamic environment, you will be creative and apply your strong problem-solving skills to contribute to the development of frameworks and methodologies.

As a Business Analyst with a background in education and/or engineering with a flair for statistics, you will provide key support for the analysis conducted by the Research, Analysis and Modelling team.

In this pivotal role you will identify and review scientific and economic reports to gather statistical data relevant to the projects, support robust statistical analysis and modelling under guidance, generate reports and presentations based on their findings and interact with project partners.

To succeed in this position, you will require demonstrated organisational, statistical and analytical skills, an excellent ability to work as an effective member of a team and are passionate about climate change. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite is required, with a particular focus on Excel.
