Located in the Bogong Reserve Glen Waverley the Monash Men’s shed is a registered Health Promotions Charity.

The shed’s principle purpose is to engage in the relief of distress and to promote the prevention and control of physical or mental illness in human beings.

About the role

We are seeking a suitably qualified or experienced person to oversee and coordinate the operations of the Monash Men’s shed on a part-time basis.

Reporting to the Committee of Management the successful applicant will be required to develop and manage a range of programs and a diverse membership within the Monash Men’s Shed.

• Qualification and/or experience in a Community Development field
• Commitment to Men’s Health and related philosophies
• Ability to work independently, as well as work well within a team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to network and relate well to a diverse range of stakeholders
