About Us

Early in Life Mental Health Services (ELMHS) provides assessment and treatment for infants, children, adolescents, young people and their families. We work with the 0-18 age in the Southern Region. We provide a comprehensive assessment service and a range of treatment options including inpatient treatment in times of crisis, community (outpatient) treatment, group programs, family therapy, and specialist services. The Intensive Mobile Outreach Stream (IMOS) provides treatment for referrals received by our service. We work with families in addressing a number of complex issues that families may be experiencing including school refusal, parent/child relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, trauma related issues, self-harm, suicidal thinking, eating disorders.

About the Role

This position will suit an individual who enjoys working collaboratively with families to address their identified areas of concern. This is a fast paced team that thrives on multidisciplinary team involvement.

This is a full time position. The position is based in Dandenong but you will be required to travel within the Monash Health catchment area to provide outreach treatment to our client group. The core business hours of this team are 8.30 -5.00pm.

The position is an Allied Health Grade 2, Psychologist Grade 2, or Nurse Grade 3 level. (YB23, YB50, YC45, PK4, RP35)
