Based in Northbridge, YouthBeat provides street based outreach in the inner city area and case management support. The Outreach team engage with at risk young people during week day afternoons and Friday and Saturday nights (9pm to 5am) to build rapport and provide brief intervention and support. Young people are supported through the provision of practical assistance, psychosocial assessment, referral to support services including accommodation and emergency relief supports.
The YouthBeat works in partnership with WAPOL, the Crisis Case Unit and the Nyoongar Outreach Services on Friday & Saturday nights in the CBD and Northbridge to ensure young people's safety, providing referrals and transport to a safe place for the night.
