Your Opportunity

Reporting to the Regional Leader, you will be responsible for leading a high performing team in the delivery of Local Area Coordination (LAC) as well as managing the daily operations of service delivery and team management in Whyalla and Port Augusta locations.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Providing leadership and supervision to a team of staff across the Eyre and Far North region
  • Monitoring and managing service delivery and performance against contractual targets and financial budgets
  • Building and maintaining external relationships across your respective area, including strategic partnerships with NDIA, government state and local, and corporate and community stakeholders
  • Workforce and operational planning
  • Overseeing the preparation and monitoring of budgets, and reporting on service delivery and performance outcomes, as well as overall progress
  • Driving a culture of continuous improvement with respect to the delivery of services

Requirements for Success:

  • A tertiary qualification in Allied Health, Social Work or similar/ relevant discipline
  • Extensive experience (minimum of 4 years) in leadership and/or management within the context of community or disability services
  • Well established networks in the community across your local area
  • Experience in leading high performing, multidisciplinary teams across a range of service offerings within a defined geographical context
  • Experience leading high performance and managing under performance
  • Experience in managing stakeholder relationships, including government stakeholders
  • Demonstrated interest in community and social outcomes
  • Lived experience of disability (encouraged)
