Your Opportunity

This is a critical role in leading a team to drive marketing and fundraising performance across Mission Australia. You will have responsibility for the planning, optimising and continually improving of campaigns, ensuring data assists us to target and deliver great results. 

Reporting to the General Manager, Fundraising and Marketing, you will have a small team reporting to you. This is a senior role in the organisation that has the ability to directly impact and drive Mission Australia’s financial performance and strategy. 

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Provide a senior leading role and expert guidance in a team of that is continually measuring and ensuring marketing impact.
  • Develop and drive a data integration strategy to maximise supporter knowledge, segmentation and ensure accurately targeted campaigns
  • Own and administer fundraising systems including CRM Dynamics, Marketing Automation Marketo and BI Solutions
  • Enhance reporting analysis, modelling and forecasting of Mission Australia's fundraising performance.
  • Lead data enhancements and improve data management processes ensuring integrity and quality of interpretation
  • Maintain active and constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the objectives and initiatives are achieved across fundraising and marketing teams.

Requirements for Success

  • Tertiary Qualifications in STEM subject, Marketing, Analytics or a related field.
  • Proven leadership experience and strong influencing skills
  • Very strong SQL programming skills
  • Extensive experience in using marketing data and analytics to improve quality and performance and to deliver results, preferably in a fundraising environment
  • Excellent ability to utilise a variety of technology including CRM, Marketing Automation tools, Power BI or similar
  • Understanding of data modelling tools and techniques
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good project management and communication skills
  • Proven ability to build strong, respectful and robust relationships
  • Proven ability to synthesise and analyse complex information
