Your Opportunity

Mission Australia has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Program Manager passionate about mental health, alcohol and other drugs and care mentoring to lead the teams in Hindmarsh to provide services across metro Adelaide.  

The program manager is accountable for reporting, managing the financial aspects of the contract and managing staff across various locations.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead the local team in the implementation and delivery of program requirements to clients
  • Coordinate the delivery of service commitments to achieve client outcomes
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the service
  • Meet all program targets, compliance and KPIs
  • Work with other program managers within the community to ensure the full range of services is available to clients
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify and support staff training and development needs
  • Induct and train new and existing staff to ensure appropriate knowledge of the organisations policies and procedures

Requirements for Success

  • Substantial experience in leading and managing team in a complex service delivery setting
  • Relevant degree or associate diploma with substantial experience
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver service outcomes on time and in compliance with funding requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
  • Previous experience in budget and financial management
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated interest in community and social outcomes
  • A personal alignment with the values of Mission Australia

Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
