Your Opportunity

With flexibility for this role to be conducted in any State based location across Australia you will enjoy the flexibility of a blended WFH and Office environment. You will be an essential member of the fundraising and marketing team ensuring the regular Appeals process runs smoothly and to schedule. You will help develop and deliver compelling fundraising campaigns to acquire, retain and engage donors. You will be reporting to the Senior Manager of Individual Giving.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Coordinate a range of acquisition and retention campaigns in line with strategic objectives  
  • Assist in campaign communication through a variety of mediums and track and report on performance.
  • Collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders managing tasks including sourcing of design, copy writing and mailing house suppliers.
  • Support Fundraising Managers in the execution of digital campaigns including marketing automation, preparing campaign briefs, proof reading and design reviews.
  • Assist in the preparation and collation of reports and ensure accuracy of data produced

Requirements for Success

  • Experience in a customer service, event coordination or fundraising.
  • Ideally some existing experience in project or event management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook   
  • Self-motivation, enthusiasm, resilience, initiative and excellent teamwork
  • Exceptional attention-to-detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
  • Ability to comply with Mission Australia's Biological Safety Policy and be fully vaccinated for Covid 19

Before starting to work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
