The Volunteer Coordinator will be responsible for leading and growing a vibrant team of volunteers which staff the Mind Carer Helpline. The Mind Carer Helpline is a professional service that offers counselling services and information about mental health and mental illness. The Volunteer Coordinator is also responsible for the organisation and facilitation of social and recreational groups for carers.

You will

  • Have proven experience in leading and coaching your team to deliver high quality customer service
  • Plan and develop group programs that will assist and support the needs of Family and Carer’s
  • Manage the volunteer roster to ensure that maximum coverage of the Carer Helpline is maintained
  • Have tertiary qualifications (minimum Cert IV in Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or other health related field as designated by Mind)
