About the role

The Risk and Compliance Partner, as part of the small collaborative but experienced Governance Risk and Compliance team, will implement, monitor and improve our governance risk and compliance systems and processes to support our service delivery streams. The aim is to achieve consistent service delivery and comply with internal and external policy, standards and practice.

Take on this the newly created position working autonomously to assist our client facing business to build risk capability and maturity, identify and monitor risks to operations and respond to our regulatory compliance obligations across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build the risk and compliance agenda and be at the forefront of establishing processes.
  • Respond to regulatory compliance obligations across the business including scheduled and ad-hoc reporting to regulators.
  • Collaborate on quality assurance initiatives.
  • Support internal governance risk compliance and assurance reporting requirements and provide insights into reports.
  • Challenge the way this function operates, have exposure to senior leadership, and develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders.

What you’ll bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Services or Risk as well as significant experience in a similar role is required.
  • Proven experience in healthcare, mental health, social housing or similar environment with understanding in compliance obligations within this sector.
  • Experience administering and implementing risk, compliance and governance systems.
  • Knowledge and experience in internal audit, quality and accreditation processes.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders.
