About the role

You will provide quality therapeutic and mental health intervention support to customers with mental ill health and dual disabilities, including customers who will have complex care needs. Your focus in the South East Queensland area will be servicing an established client base, continue to build on existing relationships and create opportunities to build new ones contributing to the expansion and growth in the area.

You will

  • Use a person-centred approach to provide therapy services
  • Provide clinical assessment & interventions and capacity building for customers with mental health support needs
  • Develop networks and build capacity internally and externally to enhance service delivery to customer groups
  • Manage a case load and working as part of a multi-disciplinary team within the community
  • Build relationships with family and carers of our clients to assist recovery oriented practice

What you’ll bring

  • A current AHPRA registration
  • Tertiary qualification in Psychology
  • The ability to build capacity of customers, family and carers, support staff and provide appropriate training to families and carers
