Your role

  • Coordinate the Headspace Sexual Health Psycho-Education clinic
  • Work with our Community Engagement Coordinator to establish strong partnerships with local schools and GP clinics
  • Provide information to any professionals, families, and young people regarding physical health issues and sexual health issues
  • Work with GP if recruited to ensure smooth operation of GP clinic
  • Physical health checks as determined within the scope of a practice nurse role

What you will bring

  • Proven experience in the day to day running of a fast paced clinic
  • Ability to deliver and manage treatment plans with young people
  • Understanding of the primary health concerns and challenges that young people face
  • Registered Nurse, Registered Midwife; Division 1 (General)
  • Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (APHRA)
  • Current Victorian Accredited Nurse Immuniser
  • Current Certificate in Emergency Management following Adverse Reactions to Vaccine
  • Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health (Nursing) or similar
  • Current Working With Children Check (Employee)
  • Not listed on the Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme list
