About the role

You will provide quality assessment and therapeutic Occupational Therapy (OT) to support customers with mental health and dual disabilities who have complex care needs. Your focus in Wangaratta and surrounding areas will be servicing an established client base, continue to build on existing relationships and create opportunities to build new ones contributing to the expansion and growth in the area.

You will

  • Use a person-centred approach to provide NDIS therapy services
  • Provide clinical assessment, diagnosis & interventions including clinical behaviour support and capacity building for customers with complex needs
  • Develop networks and build capacity internally and externally to enhance service delivery to customer groups
  • Manage a case load and working as part of a multi-disciplinary team within the community
  • Build relationships with family and carers of our clients to assist recovery oriented practice

Required Checks and Registrations

  • Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Police and Working With Children, Disability Workers Exclusion Scheme (DWES)
