About the role

As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide quality assessments and therapeutic Occupational Therapy (OT) support to customers with mental ill health and dual disabilities who have complex care needs. This role would ideally suit someone living in the Gippsland area.

Duties

  • Roving Allied Team Member travelling across Mind Mental Health and Wellbeing Centres in Gippsland
  • Behaviour support plans, and short-term intervention methods
  • Specialist support coordination
  • Liaise with NDIA, LACs, TAC, WorkCover, and relevant bodies regarding customer progress

What you’ll bring

  • A current AHPRA registration
  • Knowledge of NDIS / Fee for Service
  • High quality of occupational therapy assessments (functional and sensory)
  • The ability to build capacity of customers, family and carers, support staff and provide appropriate training to families and carers
