About the role

As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide quality assessments and therapeutic Occupational Therapy (OT) support to customers with mental ill health and dual disabilities who have complex care needs. This role is based in Bendigo with the flexibility to work from home. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate to join a supportive team and make a difference in the community!

Duties

  • Roving Allied Team Member travelling across surrounding areas at Mind Mental Health and Wellbeing Centres
  • Behaviour support plans and short-term intervention methods
  • Specialist support coordination
  • Liaise with NDIA, LACs, TAC, WorkCover, and relevant bodies regarding customer progress

What you’ll bring

  • A current AHPRA registration
  • Knowledge of NDIS / Fee for Service
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
  • High quality of occupational therapy assessments (functional and sensory)
  • The ability to build capacity of customers, family and carers, support staff and provide appropriate training to families and carers
