About the role

As a Mental Health Practitioner you will be responsible for providing recovery focused mental health services to people with higher levels of vulnerability and complexity who may benefit from the wide range of services offered by Mind. This opportunity is servicing clients face to face in the Gippsland area and would ideally suit candidates based in the region.

Skills & experience

  • Tertiary qualifications (minimum certificate IV) in Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or other health related field
  • Work within a recovery oriented framework to support individuals, families and carers
  • Develop strength based assessments with clients
  • Facilitate the re-engagement and maintenance of family and carer relationships
  • Develop daily living skills and capacity for self-care
