About the role

As a Mental Health Practitioner you will be responsible for providing recovery focused mental health services to people with higher levels of vulnerability and complexity who may benefit from the wide range of services offered by Mind. We believe in playing to your strengths to ensure we are identifying the needs of our clients and delivering the required services:

  • 1:1 Outreach
  • Support Coordination
  • Group Day Activities
  • Recovery Retreats

To be successful you have a willingness to grow, learn and implement high quality practices. Ideally have experience in the Fee for Service model (NDIS) and ensure our customer experience is about their journey to recovery and reaching their goals.

Skills & experience

  • Tertiary qualifications (minimum certificate IV) in Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or other health related field
  • Work within a recovery oriented framework to support individuals, families and carers
  • Develop strength based assessments with clients
  • Facilitate the re-engagement and maintenance of family and carer relationships
  • Develop daily living skills and capacity for self-care
