About the role

The Group Facilitator position provides recovery focused mental health services to people who may benefit from the wide range of services offered by Mind. We currently have a part time opportunity to join Mind at our Supported Independent Living site. The role also plays an integral role in developing individual programs; plans that outline goals, aspirations and desires working towards recovery and independent living.

Duties

• Co-design and develop relevant groups with customers
• Collect course evaluation data and prepare evaluation reports
• Work with external and internal stakeholders to provide best experience for customers

What are we looking for?

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Significant experience in the design of group work education and training; learning activities
• The ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• The ability to engage in reflective practice
• Tertiary qualifications (minimum Certificate IV) in Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or other health-related field.
