About the role

A full-time permanent opportunity has become available within our Early Intervention Psychosocial Support Response Service (EIPSRS) working in collaboration with our clinical partner Latrobe Health.

EIPSRS is an outreach service that provides a person-centred approach to recovery which is tailored to meet individual needs. This service is delivered through outreach and will have responsibility for working with clients in a designated geographic area. The EIPSRS model is delivered through a mobile service focusing on supporting people to achieve better life goals.

Reporting directly to the Service Manager, this role covers a Monday – Friday roster and will see you out and about in the community engaging directly with clients in a Mind provided car supported by technology enabling successful mobile working.

Duties

  • Provide direct support to individual clients, delivering high-quality service and facilitating positive educational and social experiences
  • Deliver group sessions and learning activities
  • Assist clients in building networks with their families and community services
  • Work autonomously and competently across a variety of digital platforms

What you’ll bring

  • Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with clients, colleagues, clinical providers and key stakeholders
  • Relevant experience in facilitating group activities for clients experiencing mental ill-health
  • Previous experience working with people with complex mental health issues and their families and carers
  • Strong understanding of available community services, networks and supports
  • Tertiary qualifications (minimum Certificate IV) in Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or other health-related field as designated by Mind
