About the role

The Community Mental Health Practitioner will deliver high quality, recovery oriented, direct psycho-social support through individual and group work to customers and their families and carers, consistent with Mind organisational values and model of recovery oriented practice.

Duties

  • Assisting the customer with daily living activities
  • Supporting families and carers
  • Assisting with organised activities and social activities

You will have

  • Tertiary qualifications (minimum Cert IV in Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or other health related field as designated by Mind)
  • Previous experience working in a similar role
  • The ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven experience in working in a recovery orientated framework
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including the use of Microsoft/other software
