About the role

A full time permanent opportunity has become available within our Early Intervention Psychosocial Support Response Service (EIPSRS) based in working in the North West Catchments of Melbourne (Hume and Moreland).

EIPSRS is a service that provides a person centred approach to recovery which is tailored to meet individual needs. This service is delivered through outreach and will have responsibility for working with clients in designated geographic areas across Metropolitan Melbourne. The program works in collaboration with major health services including Melbourne Health, St Vincent's Health and Austin Health.

Duties

  • Working with clients to enable them return to their place of residence and a meaningful life through supporting them through a staged approach to recovery
  • Working collaboratively with a broad range of services as they relate to client’s needs to ensure a co-ordinated and integrated response to the client’s recovery goals
  • Providing a central point to support families and carers
  • Supporting on-going development of NDIS services

You will have

  • Tertiary qualifications (minimum certificate IV) in Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or other health related field as designated by Mind
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to learn quickly and adapt to a changing environment and client needs
  • Knowledge of NDIS
