The Senior Manager Client Services - Complex Care is responsible for managing the Complex Care Unit, comprising of Registered Nurses, Community Nurses, Disability Support Staff, Lifestyle Staff and Administrative Staff. This encompass financial and operational service delivery outcomes to meet the needs of current and future clients within the context of the NDIS.

A key focus of the role is to oversee the delivery of high-quality complex clinical supports and services, ensuring that all practices comply with quality standards (clinical and NDIS), legislative, regulatory and policy requirements.

To be the successful candidate you will bring:

  • Proven experience in a relevant leadership role working within the disability, aged care, human services, community or health related areas.
  • Knowledge of Disability Service Standards and relevant legislation, including specific NDIA requirements, including NDIS Code of Conduct, Practice Standards, and Quality and Safeguards Commission
  • Varied and relevant experience in community services with an emphasis on the design of innovative, flexible and holistic individualised plans and associated costings.
  • Broad knowledge of financial processes and guidelines related to individual funding and budgets and high level conceptual and analytical skills to assess and develop same.
  • Ability to analyse processes and make recommendations for procedure development and process improvement.
  • Knowledge of legislative and governance frameworks and an understanding of government reporting requirements.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of human behaviour, with emphasis on small groups and community structure and effective team practice.

Essential criteria:

  • NDIS Screening clearance OR Department of Human Services Disability Services Employment Screening Clearance (or ability to gain)
  • Current, valid and unrestricted South Australian Driver’s Licence
  • Registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Experience in a management role
  • Ability to grow, develop and motivate a diverse team
