Minda Assist Therapy (MAT) is a multi-disciplinary team that provides professional assessment and support for people with disability who receive a service or are supported by Minda.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Physiotherapist to join our dynamic growing team. Work with a diverse case load of clients including but not limited to physical, neurological and cognitive disorders. You will be exposed to multidisciplinary planning approaches and interventions which include both land and water-based therapies.

Key skills, knowledge and attributes:

  • Experience working in a NDIS Environment
  • Experience undertaking physiotherapy assessments and timely intervention, providing recommendations and reporting
  • Establishing client relationships, goals and care plans in consultation with clients/carers
  • Supporting the client to achieve maximum physical potential and maintain a quality lifestyle
  • Ensuring appropriate written and verbal communication with key stakeholders as required including timely reports and exercise plans
  • Ability to work independently, set clear goals and expectations, track progress and ensuring any feedback addressing performance problems are promptly notified. Noting clinical support and guidance is available for complex situations
  • A passion to work with a value focused organisation who strive to enhance the lives of the people we support
  • Maintain professional standards, participate in professional development including mandatory training
  • Experience adhering to registration standards, codes and guidelines and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Practice Standards

Key Requirements of the role:

  • Tertiary qualification which entitles current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist
  • DHS Disability and Aging Employment Clearance
  • DHS Working with Children Clearance
  • National Police Clearance
  • South Australian Drivers Licence
  • First Aid certificate
