Minda Assist Therapy (MAT) is a multi-disciplinary team that provides professional assessment and support for people with disability who receive a service or are supported by Minda.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced, and highly effective Clinical Lead Physiotherapist, to lead a team dedicated to ensuring the very best in care is delivered to our clients.

This position will operate within Minda’s Professional Support Services working across various areas of the organisation. The Clinical Lead Physiotherapist works within a multi-disciplinary team that provides professional assessment, therapy and support for people living with an intellectual or other type of disability who receive a service from Minda or who are supported employees, families, carers and staff.

You will align your operational duties with the values of Minda at the heart of your decision making, and work in a collaborative nature with your colleagues and peers to drive operational excellence.

It will be essential that your leadership is driven by your passion, and your desire to see your team grow and develop to support the growing nature of the business.

Key skills, knowledge and attributes:

  • Experience working in a NDIS Environment
  • Experience in providing a high standard of support to individuals, their families, and staff, within a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Experience in prioritising, adapting and managing a workload, given the expectations other staff, individuals and their families.
  • Direct service delivery to people of all ages with a disability and complex needs.
  • Working with people with a range of secondary disabilities (physical, sensory and psychiatric).
  • Ability to work collaboratively across the organisation to facilitate effective communication within the team and across teams and departments to achieve a high standard of support to meet the needs of individuals.

Key Requirements of the role:

Essential:

  • Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as a Physiotherapist.
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Ability to obtain the NDIS worker screening clearance through the DHS (Department of Human Services) website prior to employment and a DHS Working with Children Check
  • SA Drivers Licence

Desirable:

  • Senior First Aid Certificate.
  • Post graduate studies in any relevant discipline
  • Cert IV in Workplace Training and Assessment
