In this essential role, you will conduct on the job assessments and provide credentialing of high intensity supports that aligns with Minda’s policy and quality framework. Deliver group training sharing knowledge and skills supporting quality outcomes and experiences for our clients, along with supporting the induction process for Disability Support Workers.

This is an essential function of the team as we aspire all our staff to be the best support workers, and it will be your direct influence and support that will drive this goal.

As an experienced educator, you will have the ability close working relationships across the business to work in partnerships and drive best practice outcomes. Your excellent communication style, along with your passion for building quality teams will be visible in the training and assessment outcomes of support workers.

About you

• Bachelor of Nursing or above
• Preferably hold a TAE40116 Certificate IV Training & Assessment and /or experience working in a similar role
• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Experience across a diversity of clinical areas, including PEG management and diabetes
• NDIS Worker Screening clearance OR DHS Disability Services Employment Screening clearance
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to engage learners through diverse activities and adult learning principles
• A genuine person-centred approach keeping the client at the centre of what we do
