THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking motivated people who have a genuine approach and proven ability to relate positively to people. The role involves assisting people to implement and coordinate their NDIS plans, helping them achieve their goals and build the way to a better life.

A position is available in North Metro as well as pool positions across other parts of Metro that will be filled as the program grows.

The position is a full-time, Level 4 SCHADS Award. We will consider part-time hours for the right candidate(s).

ABOUT YOU

  • You are a people person and are able to engage and build relationships with a variety of people.
  • You are able to be creative and persistent to keep connected, even when someone is considered hard to get to know or having a bad day.
  • You have experience and an understanding of the NDIS.
  • You have great organisational skills.
  • You are flexible and adaptable and have good time management.
  • You welcome challenges and see them as an opportunity to be creative.
  • You recognise the challenges, value and wisdom of a lived experience of mental health issue.
  • You acknowledge people and their families have a natural authority over their lives and services.

We are an experienced specialist NDIS provider of community mental health services. MIFWA prides itself on providing local, reliable, creative and targeted assistance based on a personal relationship. Our mission is to work alongside people affected by mental health issues in a way that is meaningful to them.
