Thought about providing Mental Health support and assistance to those in need?
We're looking for two passionate Youth Workers to help deliver a new, exciting and hands-on program.
Join us in supporting individuals to live a fulfilling and meaningful life in their own community!
The Youth Outreach Recovery Service (YORS) is a psychosocial support model for young people aged 16-25 years who have been experiencing mental health symptoms for more than six months and would benefit from wellbeing support.
The program is hands-on and flexible, with a range of day and afternoon shifts available (between 8am and 8pm). It will allow participants access to groups from the YRR program, training in life skills and general support. The participants are empowered to choose their own recovery journey in order to achieve their goals.
The Youth Outreach Recovery Worker will help participants to build/consolidate their capacity to better manage their mental illness, develop practical life skills for independent living and self-care, engage in community life, access other health and social support services they need and make the journey towards recovery and the life they want
As a Wellways employee you will be provided with ongoing support and development opportunities. Work within a friendly, supportive and like-minded team sharing the same values and passion for working with people. You will also have access to employee benefits such as learning and development opportunities and access to our Employee Assistance Program
