As the Team Leader, you will oversee the delivery of the Youth Residential Rehabilitation Program and be actively involved with the leadership team across Western Victoria. You will provide supervision and support to all staff within the YRR Program and be involved in staff recruitment and training.

The YRR program aims to support young people aged 16-24 who are experiencing mental health issues and are at risk of homelessness to develop independence, build life skills, strengthen relationships and connect with services and supports specific to their needs. This includes supporting participants to engage with education, vocational training, employment and connect with the community, with family and friends. Kuna Bim also offers participants the opportunity to engage with a fully trained Intentional Peer Support Worker.

What do you need?

  • Experience in coordinating, supervising and leading a team in a mental health or community service setting
  • Experience in overseeing residential programs or similar
  • Relevant qualifications in social science or related discipline
  • Appropriate IT skills (including Microsoft Office Suite)

Compliance requirements:

  • Current valid Driver's Licence and the ability to undertake some travel
  • Satisfactory Police Records Check (not less than 12 months old)
  • NDIS Workers Orientation Module Certificate (online course)
  • DWES clearance (willing to obtain)
  • Satisfactory Working with Children Check
  • Right to Work within Australia
