Wellways has been delivering support services to people and communities in the Western Victoria since 1978. Wellways has been successful in rapidly growing our Consumer Directed Services (predominantly NDIS) across Victoria and currently delivers Core, Capacity Building and SIL supports to people living in Western Victoria.

The Regional Manager, Western Victoria works in close collaboration with the General Manager Services VIC/TAS, the Regional Manager will manage the delivery of high quality, innovative and responsive mental health and disability services, to maximise opportunities for people with mental health issues and other disabilities, and their families, to fully participate in community and attain physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. The successful candidate will demonstrate a keen eye for continuous improvement, management skills and a positive, can do attitude.

What do you need?

  • Tertiary Qualifications in a social science or related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in strong leadership and project management
  • An understanding and demonstrated commitment to social inclusion and diversity
  • Managerial capability to develop workforce potential
  • The ability to operationalise strategic goals and measure performance
  • Prior experience working within a health care sector such as Mental Health, Community, Disability, Aged Care and Health Sciences
  • A minimum of three years' management experience
  • Current valid Driver's Licence and the ability to undertake regular travel
  • Evidence of the Right to work in Australia
  • Evidence of, or a willingness to undergo a National Police Records Check, Working with Children Check-employment, NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate and DWES clearance
