Providing support for the implementation and ongoing development of the programs Prevention and Recovery Care and Specialist Residential Rehabilitation Program, your role as the Program Worker includes providing direct support to participants such as ensuring maintenance and/or skills development in domains of living, learning, working, socialising and personal health, developing professional and trusting relationships and regularly monitoring the participant's progress against their stated goals and wishes. You will facilitate linkages into a range of activities to support these areas of the participant's life to reach their full potential!

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong stakeholder engagement, verbal and written communication, effective teamwork, a commitment to best practice, and helping others. This is a part-time position, 43 hours per fortnight.

What do you need?

  • Relevant qualifications or commensurate. experience working in a support role for people with a mental health challenge
  • Demonstrated experience in working with people with serious mental health challenges
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Evidence of the Right to work in Australia
  • Current valid Driver's Licence and the ability to undertake some travel
  • Evidence of or a willingness to undergo a satisfactory National Police Records Check, Working with Children's Check and Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme Check
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
