Our Program Workers are as unique and individual as the participants they support and come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences, but they all share a common goal of empowerment and development of participants. The Prevention and Recovery Care (PARC) programs offer 24-hour, short term residential support for people experiencing mental health challenges, to prevent possible hospital admission. What do you need?

• Tertiary Qualifications in social science or related discipline is desirable
• Demonstrated experience and skills in working within a program/s for people with mental health challenges
• An understanding of the biopsychosocial model of mental health and how social inclusion principles are applied to service delivery
• Ability to work with culturally and linguistically diverse communities and individuals
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The right to work in Australia
• NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) Worker Orientation Module Certificate: https://www.ndiscommission.gov.au/workers/support-for-workers/training-course
• The successful applicant is subject to a National Police Records Check, Current Victorian Working with Children's Check-employment and Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme clearance
