The Central Queensland Regional Manager will lead the Lotus Services team in Rockhampton to:

• Provide an initial response, ongoing assistance and support to people who experienced childhood abuse in institutional settings who are searching for (or may have located) their records of care or other personal history searches.
• Provide support and advocacy to people attending the Lotus Place space and via outreach to the Central Qld region

This is a permanent, full time role with a minimum of 38 hours of work available per week and is classified under the SCHADS Award as a Level 6.

Lotus Place is a dedicated support service and resource centre for people who experienced childhood abuse in institutional settings, services are offered from three locations: - Brisbane, Rockhampton, and Townsville. Lotus Place provides integrated peer support, advocacy, counselling, and other support services to people who experienced childhood abuse in institutional setting.

We are seeking candidates with the following skills & experience:

• Demonstrated previous experience in managing and supervising staff.
• An ability to learn and or build on knowledge of the support services system for people who experienced childhood abuse in institutional settings across Australia.
• Relevant experience and or appropriate qualification including certificate, diploma and/or tertiary qualification according to level of responsibility.
• Current driver licence.
• Ability to work in Australia.
