Business Operations Liaison Officer

Your new role

As a Business Support Liaison Officer you will be responsible for:

  • Working collaboratively with Merri Health Support Services (IT and Finance) to assist with the resolution of a range of business operations queries from Carer Gateway Consortia Partners and sub-contractors.
  • Managing enquiries on behalf of Carer Gateway Consortia Partners and sub-contractors to ensure issues are investigated and actioned accordingly and within acceptable time frames.
  • Actively engaging with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all business processes and protocols are embedded in day to day delivery of Carer Gateway services.
  • Reporting, as required, critical issues or risks that may impede the effective delivery of Carer Gateway services, to Business Operations Coordinator.
  • Ensuring good customer relations and support by providing a professional and responsive service.

What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful with Merri you will go above and beyond to achieve great results for our clients, the organisation and yourself. We’re looking for individuals with:

  • A Certificate III in Administration, Community Services or equivalent.
  • Extensive administrative experience, including knowledge of finance systems and processes, proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, the use of databases and spread sheets.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing electronic and hard copy workflow systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in fostering and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders through different channels of communication.

The role will work collaboratively with Merri Health Support Services to ensure all IT, finance and supplier management enquiries and requests are investigated and actioned. Responsibility for developing and implementing streamlined systems and processes to support the operational obligations of the Carer Gateway Consortia Partners and sub-contractors is a key function of the role.
