ABOUT THE ROLE:

Are you an energetic, innovative Registered Nurse looking for the next exciting step in your facility management career that enables you to be part of a leadership team responsible for delivering a new model of Aged Care in a brand new facility?

We have a Part Time Permanent and Casual positions available for Aged Care Registered Nurses Grade 5, After Hours Coordinators located in our state of the art facility at Mercy Place Ballarat.

Mercy Place Ballarat provides small household living – a small number of residents living together in each of our homes – designed and built to feel just like home; with home cooked meals, comfortable spaces and personal laundry, our homes include a "town square" with shops, where residents can walk, share coffee or enjoy time out with family and friends.

  • Part Time Permanent and Casual positions available
  • Provide quality resident-focused and clinical care utilising a person-centred approach
  • Effectively supervise and lead a team of carers and nurses by demonstrating our core values
  • Take an active role in getting to know our residents and their families
  • Undertake assessments, treatment and documentation to the highest standard

ABOUT YOU:

  • Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse Division 1
  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent clinical skill base and knowledge of legislation within Aged Care
  • Experience in leading and supervising teams of people as an After Hours Facility Coordinator
  • Demonstrated understanding of person-centred care and ability to work in a team environment
