We’re looking for an experienced leader to join our small Marketing & Communications team based in Nudgee. The Manager Marketing & Communications plays a central role in planning, developing and implementing strategic and tactical communications and marketing strategies that position Mercy Community as a preferred provider.

The Role…

This is a hands-on role, working with a group of passionate individuals who are committed to success. To be successful in this role, you must be comfortable with changing demands and deadlines and thrive on a challenge.

In this role you will work directly with senior managers to lead the businesses marketing efforts, as well as working with both internal and external stakeholders. Reporting to the Director of People & Culture, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Overall brand management and corporate identity for Mercy Community
  • Develop strategic marketing plans, co-ordinate, implement and manage the strategy
  • Lead and oversee day to day marketing activities, including overseeing the marketing budget and the development of marketing collateral
  • Lead and oversee Mercy Community’s digital marketing strategy, including social media marketing
  • Regular monitoring, evaluation and reporting on effectiveness of marketing plans
  • Cement the Mercy Community brand into the organisational culture by championing the development of effective and engaging organisational culture building initiatives

About You…

  • Tertiary qualifications in Communications and/or Marketing
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a senior marketing and communications role
  • Strong understanding of relationship management and stakeholder service delivery
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Previous experience developing and implementing communications and marketing plans
  • Ability to obtain positive notice in the legislatively required personal history check in line with service stream compliance requirements.
