About the role

MercyCare is seeking Enrolled Nurses to join the team at our Kelmscott Residential Aged Care facility on a part time basis, contracted to a minimum of 10 hours per fortnight. It’s expected that some night shifts may be required.

The role is responsible for the leadership and management of clinical and care staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care that promotes wellbeing and quality of life and meets the Aged Care Accreditation Standards. Some night shifts may be required.

To join our friendly and passionate team, you will need to be compassionate, have the ability to build rapport with both residents and family members, be hygiene and safety focused, and a positive team player. 

To be considered for this role, you will also require:

• Registration with the Australian Health Professional Registration Authority (AHPRA) as an Enrolled Nurse and in possession of current licence to practice
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Enrolled Nurse
• The ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Well-developed verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and Accreditation
• Knowledge of and experience in ACFI (Aged Care Funding Instrument)
• National Police Clearance (obtained within the last 6 months)
