About the role

MercyCare is seeking a Domestic Assistant to join our Residential Aged Care team in Rockingham. This is a fixed term part time role, guaranteed to work a minimum of 8 hours per fortnight. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high standards of tidiness and cleanliness whilst considering person centred principles for residents.

To be considered for this role, you will also require:

• Demonstrated experience in a similar role (not essential)
• Good understanding of OHS regulations and Health and Hygiene principles
• Ability to work independently and actively participate as a team member
• Good standard of written and spoken English
• National Police Clearance (obtained within the last 6 months)
• Proof of 2020 Influenza vaccination
