The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.

We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our People and Culture team. This is a Full Time position, working 80 hours per fortnight, based at The Royal Melbourne Hospital - City Campus.

Your Opportunity:

  • Provide career advice services and support the identification of appropriate training and education pathways and applied workplace learning opportunities
  • Undertake skills analysis and training needs assessments to determine learning and professional development requirements.
  • Establish and maintain respectful and productive relationships with stakeholders (Employers, Employees and Training Providers).

About You:

  • Two to five years’ experience working in a training and development role
  • Demonstrated ability to design, coordinate, deliver and evaluate training programs and resources.
  • Outstanding people skills to support and empower the development of individuals’ for both current and future job/roles.
  • You have a creative and solutions focused approach to work.
