As one of the largest health services in Victoria, and a team of more than 10,000 strong, we provide a comprehensive range of specialist medical, surgical, and mental health services; as well as rehabilitation, aged care, outpatient and community programs. We are a designated state-wide provider for services including trauma, and we lead centres of excellence for tertiary services in several key specialties including neurosciences, nephrology, oncology, cardiology and virtual health.
The Sunshine Child & Adolescent Wellbeing Service:
At MWAMHS, we strive to create the best possible learning opportunities available to complement and support both emerging and existing expertise. Staff are required to actively participate in their own practice development by engaging in available learning opportunities within the service, as well as being committed to sharing their knowledge with their colleagues. In the next 18 months, MWAMHS will be delivering new services to the community with two, 26-bed psychiatric inpatient unit and a 12-bed Women's Prevention and Recovery Centre which has the ability to accommodate young dependents.
